Goodbye Week. Hello Weekend. Lessons Learned: Take 45.

Donated by International Artist Romero Britto: AZUL. Thank you!
Goodbye mega menagerie of unusual butterflies that seem to be swarming all over the place, around our homes, at our cars - weird.
Goodbye son's Greek Week and experiential learning about Greek and Roman architecture, art, and Olympic events - all learned by doing.
Goodbye welcoming a new addition to our school grounds from a generous donation from famous artist Romero Britto - so cute!
Goodbye sweltering heat and humidity - summer must be around the corner.
Goodbye tasty sandwich at Panera that I am absolutely in love with - Mediterranean Veggie, yummy!

Hello last weekend before the big birthday party and getting all the details nailed down.
Hello ignoring our cold symptoms and pretending it's just allergies.
Hello finding time to try a new sandwich place that just opened, Which Wich.
Hello Super Moon; the closest, brightest, biggest you'll be all year long - gotta wear shades.
Knock it out of the park on Sunday, kids!!!
Hello Major League Cleveland Indians baseball game and my son singing the National Anthem on the field with other members of the school's awesome and talented Glee Club - amazing, unbelievable opportunity!!!

My lesson learned this week: limited time, resources, money, and the simple fact that I am only human impedes perfection. Perfection cannot be achieved by mere mortals. I have to get that concept through my own head.

Have a great weekend!

There's also a philosophy that says you ARE perfect. You were created perfectly as you were meant to be. You don't have to try to be better, you only have to try to do your best, because YOUR best is perfect.

Oh, Suzan, you'll never know how your words were so needed at this time. Thank you, dear friend.
