I have no connection with these words. Do you? |
I bought my running shoes, I created my running playlist on my iPod, I stretched, I inserted the ear buds, and I was off. It.was.torture. If it wasn't for Katy Perry's redundant encouragement of labeling me a Firework, I may not have made it back home. More than my colors were bursting, that's for sure. Dear runners, you are so kind to the novice. You try to encourage me to keep at it and promise that, when I "break through the wall", I'll be able to run forever (the thought is nightmarish to me).
I tried it. I didn't like it. I'm over it. Just help me, dear runner, to understand it?!?!

I'm a reader, not a runner, so I'm of no help to you. But I'm so glad you're feeling better! Lilly in my reader is a happy day for me. ;)

Thank you, Michele! I'm happy right there with you!
I'm sure with you on this one. People in our country are obsessed with many things, excessive exercise of all kinds being one of them. Exercise is good, excessive exercise not good.

I hear you Lilly! I've always admired people who run, but I just can't seem to get started myself. It always seems like a good idea but I can't get past the pain.
This made me laugh! I actually just did my first 5k about a week ago. I just do it to stay in shape :)
There is a Blog Tag going around and I got tagged so now I'm tagging you! Heres the post about it:

Let me know if you can do it :)
See you soon!

I wish I could be a runner. It's so admirable, but I don't get it. I feel miserable running/jogging/walking fast!
